Am I required to store long-term?

 

Tenants are never required to store with us long-term. We offer flexible month-to-month leases, so no one is ever allowed to store longer than they need.

Do I need a climate-controlled storage unit?

 

It depends on what items you intend to store. Climate-controlled storage units are the best places to store environmentally-sensitive items such as artwork, wine collections, documents, household appliances, photos, and other items that may be susceptible to damage from intense weather conditions.

 

 

What security features do you offer?

 

Our facility is fully fenced and gated with personalized entry. There are also state-of-the-art security cameras helping us monitor the facility 24/7.

 

 

What size unit do I need?

Assess the items you plan to store and ask for guidance on selecting the appropriate unit size.

 

What is the monthly rental cost?

Depending on the unit size will determine what your monthly rent it.  Call our office at 847-662-4866 and one of our storage professions can assist you with pricing.

 

 

Are there any security features?

24 / 7 video surveillance and electric secure gate and on-site staff.

 

What are the access hours?

Our access hours are 24 hours a day and 7 days a week

 

What is the lease duration?

The leases are month to month and there is not a long term commitment

 

Are there insurance requirements?

We require our tenants to have insurance.  Most of the time a tenant’s renters or homeowners policy will be sufficient

 

Is there a deposit or administrative fee?

There is a one time $24.00 administrative fee

 

Can I use my own lock?

Yes, all tenants are required to have a lock and provide their own lock

 

Are there climate-controlled units available?

We do not have any climate-controlled units

 

What's the facility's access policy during holidays or emergencies?

We are open 365 days a year.

 

Can I move in immediately?

We have units available to move in immediately.

 

Are there any restrictions on what I can store?

Tenants are not permitted to store any flammable items, Perishable Items, hazardous materials, living or deal creatures, stolen property, firearms and ammunition, items with strong odors such as garbage and flammable items, controlled substances, and explosives 


How do I make payments?

Highway 41 Self Storage accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, check and money orders

 

What is the facility's reputation and customer reviews?

Can I change unit sizes if needed?

At times customers need to change the size of their unit. We offer a wide range of unit sizes to meet most of your storage needs.

 

Can I have multiple people with access to the unit?
